What’s the difference between a homeroom class and a workshop (at a high school)?

Homeroom class: A specific group of students.   Subject section: A group of students taking the same subject and evaluation.   Workshop grouping: Group of students completing modules at their own pace (Individualized Schedule). They may take different subjects at the same time (known as modules).
