Complete with a bank of graduated descriptors that categorize the seriousness of behaviour and standardize how observations and interventions are recorded, OIM includes a dashboard so users can understand the behaviour of a group (teacher), specific students (support worker) or the entire school (principal) at a glance. <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">&#13;\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\u00a0<\/div>&#13;\n<\/figure>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p><strong>OIM (Observation and Intervention Monitoring)<\/strong><\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">&#13;\n<li>\u2022\tMakes it easy to record observations and interventions: &#13;\n&#13;\n<ul>&#13;\n<li>o\tReal-time data collection and monitoring in order to identify changes in a student\u2019s school life.<\/li>&#13;\n<li>o\tRecorded observations point to the most effective interventions for a particular student.<\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul><\/li>&#13;\n<li>\u2022\tLinks observations with an intervention to build a consistent history of actions taken.<\/li>&#13;\n<li>\u2022\tPrevents repetitions of ineffective interventions.<\/li>&#13;\n<li>\u2022\tAnalyzes student behaviour by location and presents a full understanding of the behavioural record.<\/li>&#13;\n<li>\u2022\tInterprets facts based on the frequency and intensity of behaviours rather than on emotional reactions to a difficult situation.<\/li>&#13;\n<li>\u2022\tProvides a better understanding of students so guidelines can be established for school interventions.\u00a0<\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p>In addition, Automated Protocols can be used to individualize shared information in accordance with how the school operates. Everyone involved in monitoring a student can be informed about any new observation or intervention concerning that student.
