What do categories refer to in evaluations?

When creating an evaluated activity, several parameters need to be filled in, including the “category” parameter. This parameter makes it possible to sort evaluations of the same type and group them in the same folder (e.g., dictations, exercises, quizzes, etc.).

For each category, you can associate a weighting that will apply to the final result for the material. Also, the categories in which the results are entered can be found under each of the associated competencies.

WARNING: if you create categories under your competencies and then create new activities, you must assign them a category if you want the result of this activity to be taken into account. If you don’t assign a category, the portal will not take the result of this activity into account.
